Hiya Tina. Thanks for the very kind words, and welcome to Celtic Juice! I think you'll have some fun with what's coming up, so stay tuned...

Let me tell everyone that I joined Tina, The Bog Wanderers, and many other Irish musicians Saturday night to crank up the CCE ceili dancers in Fairfax, Virginia. Tina spun out the tunes on her very kickin' Irish flute, and I was just trying to keep up as one of Jesse Winch's bodhran students. What a great time! Anyone interested in developing their Irish music sensibilities should ask around for a welcoming ceili band or drop-in seisun at your local pub. You might be surprised at what helpful fun you can find in your own backyard.

Hope to see you next month, Tina, and here's a fine hello to all our new viewers from Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann. Slainte mhath!

Thanks very much, Joe. It was a real pleasure to chat with Beth, as you might imagine from the interview. She and her family are out in such a beautiful area about a hundred miles west of DC - and by the way, the bull is for sale!

The thumping you heard was some enthusiastic foot stomping that you may notice also rung the camera a bit, as it was literally three feet from the performers. I'll say it was worth it, yeah?!

There's some more very nice stuff on the way. Thanks for watching!

Hey, this was a treat. Nicely done, nice insights, education and music from Beth. Not so sure about that thumping noise on the last bit of performance, though. And doesn't the valley look charming? Thanks so much for this. Joe
